We had a really great 9 night stay at 6 rue Perronet in early November, 2009. The location could not have been better. We were within a very short walk from 2 metro stations that allowed easy access throughout the city. Also within easy walking distance were great museums, cafes, brasseries and the most scrumptious patisserie right around the corner!
The apartment had everything we could want including a very comfortable, king size bed, a good bathroom with full bathtub and shower, and a complete kitchen. Add to all of this a location on a very quiet street. It was ideal!

in an ABSOLUTE gold mine of a location! I am beyond sorry to leave!

But I want you to know how truly impressed I am with what this studio
has to offer - I haven't had to go out and buy anything, and I haven't
felt as if I was "without" anything while I was away from my native
country, but from this location, I've been able to experience new
things that I never even thought I would "need" (like baguettes - ok
so I don't really NEED those, haha, but the Patisserie just around the
corner has developed a new overwhelming "need" of mine for a daily
baguette) But all the wonderful little pleasures of Paris are just
steps away from this studio!

Additionally, I never felt unsafe walking home by myself in this area.
And walking into the apartment, I would often run into different
neighbors who were beyond friendly to me!

And you were incredibly accommodating - always just a phone call and
then a quick drive away! Very honest and also very welcoming! It
really made a difference that you were there to greet me when I
arrived at the apartment, and just outside of Paris if I needed
anything at all.

Thank you, Karen, for letting me stay here at 6 rue Perronet! I would
recommend this studio to any 1 or 2 persons who want to experience

As a single young woman; I had a blast staying in Karen Flat. Such an amazing area; clean and full of life. It was so convenient and indeed safe. 6 arr & 7arr in Paris are famous district and its usually for aristocrate and art dealers therefore was grateful to stay in a historic area of Paris. The flat was practically new and everything from the bed to the washroom was clean and brand new. I loved it there and was sad to leave. There are alot of shopping in the area and famous cafe's such as les deux magots & cafe flores. The streets were clean and everything you need is walking distance even the subway. I mean i still cant believe i stayed in the st germain district. So thank you so much Karen for letting me renting your flat. You were so attentive to my needs and even helped me when i couldnt use my debit card. You are a wonderful person; so helpful, tactful and detailed oriented. If i needed anything you were there and available alors merci beaucoup!

Sorry for the delay. Since I've been back, I've been on the road a lot with work related issues.

Location, Location, Location! That is how I would describe our stay at l'Apartement Perronet. Being off St.Germain gives you a 5 minute walk to the Louvre, a 12 minute walk to Notre Dame, and a 10 minute walk to shops and restaurants around Ste-Michelle. For the first 4 days of being there, we never once had to take a metro. Although we were worried about the size of the apartment when we arrived, we quickly learned that it really is all of the space you need. The pull-out bed makes a wonderful couch, and in the evening converts into a very comfortable king size bed. The design of the apartment makes great use of form and function, and not a square inch is wasted. I would (and I have already) recommended your place for anyone wanting to see Paris from a local perspective. Karen is an excellent landlord and it shows throughout the design of her apartment. Keep up the good work.

We had a great time in our stay at 6 Rue Perronet. The location is central and only two blocks from the subway. It was a convenient walk to the Louvre or the D'Orsay Museum, as well as the Seine River.

Many thanks for the coffee which was a godsend in the morning.

The bathroom was lovely to take a nice hot bath after a day of walking. The hot water was amazing, and instantly hot. Loved the heated towel rack and wished we had one at home. Thanks again for such a lovely vacation rental!
